Beauty is a subconscious pursuit of the human mind, an inevitable part of one’s perceptions and an invisible influencer of our everyday actions. However, there is no single definition of beauty because of its subjective nature, making its numerous interpretations a form of individual expression. As part of this pursuit, we collect objects that are a translation of our notions of beauty. It is a source of joy and we use them to embellish the spaces we inhabit.
Material Immaterial studio has created BeHold, an art frame that seeks to be at an intersection of spirit and space. It will encase works of art the way space encompasses our being.
What makes BeHold a distinctive frame is its language of intricate geometric steps inspired by the intuitive orchestration of light and shadow in architecture. While drawing the viewer’s focus towards the artwork it holds, it simultaneously surprises the viewer with its elegant detailing.
After all, beauty lies in the eyes of the BeHolder.
